Vintage House Plans Download

[Image]Designing a home that’s truly classic in nature seems to be a lost art in most architectural circles. Middle to late 19th and early 20th century homes represented a true beauty that’s been lost in a modern society, yet many prospective homeowners would love the idea of having such a classic styled home designed for them. It just seems that the drafting professionals who produce these types of home drawings are few and far between.

I’ve gleaned several drawings from the Victorian era that you can download here from this article. I hope you like the elegance and art that’s depicted in these drawings. The PDF’s are free of charge.

Below are the plans for a Queen Anne Style home, circa 1890’s. If you’re wanting to print these, go to your local print shop and ask for them to be printed on 24″ x 36″ paper. They are close to scale if the printer doesn’t print them to fit. Either way, on that size paper they’ll be close to whatever scale they were drawn to. These are free to download… Enjoy!!!

These are fantastic! Something about old/vintage buildings just takes me back. I am not an older man but being able to get the look and the feel of the homes way back when excites me. I am such a fan or the more dated architecture. I will be checking back for more of these in the future!
